"Concerts with a Cause" are benefit concerts in which the costs are underwritten by the church, admission is free, and a free-will offering is taken to benefit various charitable organizations supported by the church to help people in need.

Marion Civic Chorale (Wayne Earnest, conductor) will present He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands – a program of spirituals and multi-cultural music – on Sunday, February 14th at 3:00 p.m. at the Countryside Presbyterian Church and on Sunday, February 21st at 3:00 p.m. at Zion United Methodist Church. Admission is free and an offering will be taken for music scholarships.

On Sunday, February 7th, at 3:00 p.m., organ students of Dr. Laura Ellis from the University of Florida will present a Free Concert at First United Methodist Church as part of the events scheduled by the Ocala Chapter of the American Guild of Organists (AGO) of which Wayne Earnest is Dean. The public is cordially invited to attend this varied program as these young performers “play their socks off.”
